Ohio Wesleyan is part of the Regional Education Partners Scholarship program offered by Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy. The collaboration creates new post-graduate pathways for OWU students seeking advanced degrees in management, public policy, or information technology.
Each year, Carnegie Mellon's Heinz College will provide up to 10 qualified Ohio Wesleyan graduates with scholarships covering at least 30 percent of their per-semester tuition while enrolled in a Heinz College master’s program in the fields of management, public policy, or information technology.
“OWU provides its students with an outstanding liberal arts education, which forms an excellent foundation for study in professional graduate programs, such as the master’s degrees offered in the School of Information Systems and Management and the School of Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University,” says David Eber, Heinz College’s Director of Admissions and Financial Aid.

The Regional Education Partners Scholarship program applies to all Heinz College master’s degree programs, including the following for which Ohio Wesleyan students could meet all prerequisites at the time of their respective OWU graduations:
Heinz College offers additional master’s degree programs that are eligible for scholarship program funds, but that require prior-work experience for admission. All of its master's degree program are between three and four semesters in duration.
Ohio Wesleyan's partnership with Heinz College provides no guarantee of admission. Students must meet the entry requirements of the master’s program. Upon admission, OWU graduates are eligible for the 30 percent reduction in tuition per semester as long as they designate themselves as an OWU graduate when they apply.
