Your New York City Parking Permit for People with Disabilities (PPPD) has either expired or will expire soon. The expiration date is listed on your permit and can also be found on the page to follow.
You must meet the following requirements in order to renew your permit:Must be a resident of New York City or a non-resident employed full-time or attending school full-time in New York City.
If you are non-resident, you must ask your employer or school to write a letter on original company, organization, or school letterhead verifying that you are employed or attend school full time in New York City. The letter must be signed by an official of the company/organization/school. Letters from the school should be embossed with the school seal.
Must have either a state-issued driver's license or a state-issued non-driver identification card. Both are available from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Call New York State DMV at 212-645-5550 or 718-966-6155 for more information.
Permits are issued for specific private passenger vehicles only. All vehicles must have current and valid registrations. Any vehicle in judgement with the New York City Parking Violations Operations may not be included.
